Love these books! Can't stop reading them. Still wish the books were thicker so you don't have to buy so many.

The author does a great job picking up right where she left off and the story just keeps you engaged non stop. It’s a series I read as a teenager and am rereading because it’s worth it. Definitely recommend.

The first half of this book mostly is about the dating relationship of various high school girls in the story. Our heroine, Morgan, had given up on Cal since he tried to kill her in book 5, and is falling in love with the Seeker, Hunter. She is making tentative reconnection with her childhood BFF, Bree, who is now becoming involved with another childhood friend. In the last part of the book Cal and his mother Selene have returned after their failed attempt to kill Morgan in book 5. Hunter and Morgan go to confront Selene and Cal, and end up killing them both, or so we are told. We once thought Hunter had been killed, and he came back in the next book. So Cal and Selene are dead in the end, and Morgan's power is just warming up. All the relationships and love interests are probably a good read for teenage girls. I enjoyed Morgan's understanding of Diet Coke as the universal beverage.

The characters continue to deepen and surprise me. The story is well conceived and has me hooked. Wonderful battle of love and evil and all the murky places in between.

I started this series via Audible but those ony go to book 5 so the rest of the series will be read via kindle. I love this story. My only critique for kindle is the lack of close eye editing. Types and extra spaces ect stand out to me, but that's about it.
Excited to get the next book.

This book is amazing - though when you read them all back to back like I do some of the backstory is unnecessary- but it takes up a small portion mostly in the beginning. This entire series is amazing and my favorite of all time - even as it’s been almost 20 years since I first read it.

Younger characters, but for the year it was created I would have been the same age. So this provides me with a nostalgic remembrance of how life was as a teenager. The drama, action and the bravado keep me wanting more.

I love this series sooooo much! I've been getting it from the local library and stopped at six because they had it checked out and I just decided not to bother reserving it and my gma said I could get it on my kindle. I finished it in two or three hours, considering I played softball most of the day today. I would recommend this to everybody I know! you should read this series because it is fun and exciting

この巻は、他の巻以上にやめられなくなるほどどんどん話が展開して、最後には「え?!」と驚かずにいられない衝撃。でも謎も残っていて…。

Morgan is a blood witch with a huge amount of innate power. Initially introduced to magick and then betrayed by her boyfriend Cal Morgan is now studying with Hunter Niall, a member of the Witches' Council. Her world has been a mix of darkness and light and she has been forced to confront dark magick. Now Hunter is having accident after accident and Morgan wonders what could be causing this chaos.
This is the sixth book in the outstanding Wicca/Sweep series (after Book of Shadows , The Coven , Blood Witch , Dark Magick and Awakening ). The storyline is action packed and full of twists, and this book is unique in that the danger comes from mundane accidents.
Morgan is finding an inner strength and she and Hunter are tentatively exploring their feelings for one another. They know that there is some kind of emotional connection but are reluctant to overcome their pasts and define their relationship. It is really interesting to see Morgan in a romantic situation where she is forced to take a leading role as she was very passive in her previous relationship.
With the two covens of Cirrus and Kithic now joined, there are more additional characters most of whom don't really get much page time. That said there is a lot going on for Morgan and Hunter in the story and too many side plots would have been very distracting. Mary K is still reeling from her relationship with Bakker, and Morgan is still rebuilding her friendship with Bree. Alice is also left dealing with the events of the previous book which echo throughout this narrative.
All in all, this was another great read and I can't wait to get stuck into The Calling .
