- Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2023Growing up I had a larger version of this book with a book jacket. That is what I was expecting, but it’s not what this was. This is a smaller version (think green eggs and ham sized) with no dust jacket. I wish I would have known, but I don’t think it’s the fault of the seller. I ordered a hardcover book and that’s what I received. I love these tongue twisters. They bring me back to my childhood and I’m excited to share them with my preschoolers and future children.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2024As a parent, this was one of my absolute favorite Dr. Suess book to read to my kids. I have given new copies to the kids who now have their own kids to read to.
It's a challenge, and keeps the silly level very high. Best for kids who are learning to read, or even much older. Not great for little ones, just because they don't have the language skills to appreciate the difficulty these tongue-twisters present.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2013I grew up on Dr. Seuss, and in my older age, I am catching up on books he had written after I was grown up, and even getting some of my faves from way back then. This book is certainly one of his best. I love reading through these, and trying to actually get through them, reading them out-loud, with no goofs (NOT EASY). Yes!!! This book stays out in the open all the time, for a fun read-through, and a maybe late night tongue twister before bed?

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Condition.
So very glad I purchased this book from the seller "Oceanside Books & Games," not only is this book in excellent shape, no marks anywhere in the book, no tears, no turned down corners or stains on the cloth like style cover typical of the earlier years. One would never know this is a previously owned book as it is in such good shape ! I already have more books in my cart to buy, my confidence in this seller is much higher now that I have experienced this sale and do recommend purchasing from "Oceanside Books & Games!" I also love that this store/seller is from Canada. Shipping was fast and I received it almost a week early. The book was protected so it wouldn't get damaged by moisture during shipping. Included inside the cover was my invoice and a postcard weight and sized insert for you to keep a list of books to read on one side and a picture of a beach on the other, a nice addition and kind of personal touch. Very nice. Overall, very pleased and do recommend purchasing from them for sure.

Hi. The book arrived with a number of the first pages missing. Why isn’t this checked before the book is posted off? I will need a replacement.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolut TOP!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Dr Suess book
Like all Dr Suess books this has different rhyming sounds. Though initially skeptical I have grown to love them. They are a bit like tongue twisters but are fun and easy to read for a six year old.
